A free program for Android, by Aaron Wells.
DotDash Keyboard is a drop-in replacement for Android's on-screen keyboard. It allows you to enter text via untimed Morse code, using three main buttons: Dot, Dash, and Space (as well as Shift and Delete).
It was designed to work with the slow CPU of the phone, so it won't slow down your phone.
If you're not familiar with Morse code, it is a simple way to enter text by using groups of dots, dashes, and spaces. It is a very efficient way to enter text, as it only requires groups of three characters to write. It was inspired by the keyboards used in many video games.
